We are the Largest Producer of California Grown Agave Nursery Stock.
Our fields offer the largest supply of agave nursery stock for any size grower. Plants are imported from Mexico, inspected, fumigated and certified to meet the requirements of US Customs, the California Department of Food & Agriculture’s Inspection Service Division and the County of Fresno. Why so much effort to ensure disease free nursery stock? We’re planting them on our own land.

The California Agave Growers Difference
The Woolf family has been farming in the Central Valley of California for over 7 decades and are challenged by dwindling water supplies. Our search for drought tolerant crops has led us to consider planting agave.
Our belief is that others will follow suit, building upon the rich history of our friends in Mexico. We work closely with our Mexican partners to choose clean agaves with a strong track record of performance. Ultimately we hope to create our own unique expressions of California grown and distilled spirits just as the State’s grape growers and wineries did with wine.
