Agave Tequilana Lemeno

$9.00

Like Weber Azul above but with variegated (yellow striping) leaves.  We’ve planted these with the same spacing as we did with Weber.  After 3 years, they appear to be a bit smaller than our Weber yet more frost tolerant.  We simply don’t see the same level of leaf burn relative to the Webers.  Personally, I like these plants but am anxious to have a local distiller process these to see what kind of a spirit they might produce.  Of interest, when sharing pictures of this variety to friends in Mexico, they universally identified it as Espadin.  Time will tell us more about time to flowering and brix levels.
